Three Great Ideas For Your Halloween Table

0

Admit it, there is at least a month until Halloween, but you are thinking about the costume, the decoration and the food. I know that this is true and that’s why I’m here to give you some ideas for your Halloween table. They are both spooky and fun. After all we need to enjoy the food we eat, not to be too scared to touch it. Take a look:

Carrot-Finger Food

You will need: Vegetable dip, 4 long carrots, 1 medium carrot, baby carrots, softened cheese cream, sliced almonds, baby carrots.

Preparation: Fill in a deep bowl with your favorite vegetable dip. Wash and peel 4 long carrots for the four fingers and the medium one use for the thumb. With a small knife, cut a flat, angled piece in the tip of each carrot. After that, use the softened cream as a glue to stick the sliced almonds – they will work as fingernails. Now stick those carrot-fingers in the dip like there is a hand coming out of the dip. Serve that creative dish with plenty of peeled baby carrots for dipping.

Pretzel Spiders

You will need: 2 round crackers, smooth peanut butter, 8 small pretzel sticks and raisins.

Preparation: Make a sandwich of the crackers and the peanut butter. Insert the pretzel sticks into the sandwich. Arrange them in order to get spider legs. Use peanut butter to glue the raisins on the top of the sandwich – the eyes of the spider. Do this just for decoration around the table or as a snack (that way you will need a dozen more of these cute spiders).

Forked Eyeballs

You will need: 2 bags of white chocolate chips, 12 doughnut holes, semisweet chocolate chips, red decorator frosting, 1 tablespoon vegetable oil.

Preparation: You will need to cover the doughnut holes with the chocolate chips. To do that melt the chocolate chips with the oil over low heat and keep that mixture warm while you work. Stick into every doughnut hole a fork and gently dip them into the melted chips to cover the doughnut hole. Set the covered balls aside to cool down and to harden. Stick a semisweet chocolate chip into the doughnut whole, as it is the iris of the eye. Use the red decorating topping to draw the veins. Serve the Forged eyeballs into a mug.

These are our suggestions for your Halloween table. Enjoy them and have a Spooky Halloween!
