The Right Way to Wash Your Face

I don’t think there’s someone who doesn’t want to have clean and pimple-less face and we all use cleansers, moisturizers and other products daily to battle those pimples and black heads. We spend hundreds of dollars to buy the latest beauty products without getting any results and we, of course, blaim the products, not ourselves. But sometimes it’s not just the cleansers or mosturizers we use, it’s how we use them and in what order.

Yes, there is a proper way to wash your face! And because I truly think this can help someone in the battle with acne and cloged pores, I am going to share with just how to wash your face in order to have amazing skin!

Wash your face with warm water and a mild cleanser and pat dry with a clean towel.

Apply toner and wait for it to dry. Toner is useful for those with extremely oily skin.

Apply any topical medications, such as acne treatment.

Apply eye cream or serum and let it dry. This will help prevent collagen damage.

Apply moisturizer. Drying out your skin will actually cause it to produce more oil. Don’t forget to use a proper moisturizer for your skin and age because using the wrong product sometimes can harm you more than it would help you.

Apply sunscreen with SPF at least 30 to protect your skin from harmful UV rays. Sunscreen is an essential part of every woman’s beauty kit because it protects your skin from premature aging and advent of blemishes.

Apply makeup primer or foundation and proceed with your makeup routine. If you have damaged skin, go for a foundation and powder that won’t clog your pored and will allow your skin to breathe.

Of course, don’t forget to remove your makeup every night with a makeup remover and then to clean your face again so that any makeup that was left on your face will be removed. Cleaning your face twice a day is crucial if you want porcelain skin so don’t forget it! If you have problematic skin you can buy face wipes and use them throughout the day so your pores don’t get cloged. And if you really want to treat your skin right, just visit a dermatologist once a month to deep clean your skin!
