Simple Steps to Do a Facial Massage at Home

0

Facial massages are great for many reasons: they bring health and beauty to your skin, they relax your mind and the good news is that you can do a cheap, home version of them in a few easy steps!

You will need:

  • a bowl

  • cold water

  • makeup remover

  • cotton

  • sponge

  • massage cream

  • moisturizer

  • toner

  • eye cream

  • face pack

First of all, you need to prepare your skin. Clean all makeup from your face, using your usual products: cleanser, makeup remover, etc. Don’t apply too much pressure to your skin. Then take the sponge, dip it in water and wipe off the cleanser. Now exfoliate your face with a face scrub.

The massage part is the key segment. Take some of the massage cream and rub it on your palms. Then start with your chin and then move upwards. Gently massage your face in an upwards direction, from the throat to your forehead. Massage your cheeks all the way to the ears, massage your lips in an downward direction (making a sad face), and your eyes by stretching the area in an upward direction. Then relax with closed eyes for a few seconds. As the cream is absorbed, you are done, but you can get rid of any excess product with a sponge.

In the end, apply a face pack to your face and leave it on for 20 minutes. Then apply a toner, eye cream, and moisturizer.

Doing this about once a month can make a change for your skin! Always remember to massage with clean hands, and wash your face with cool to cold water since it gives a better glow and refreshens it, boosting blood circulation.
