How to Lighten Your Freckles


No matter how hard you try you can’t remove entirely your freckles. But there are methods to lighten them and to make them look almost invisible.

Lemon juice

Lemon juice is highly effective ingredient and can be used for treatening both freckles and brown spots. It has lightening properties and will equalize your skin tone.

Dip a cotton ball into juice of several squeezed lemons and apply it to your face in the freckled area. Let it work for 10 minutes and then rinse it off with cool water. Apply lemon juice every day to lighten your freckles over time.

Dairy mask

Using milk-based mask is another natural method for lightening frackles. In fact, that’s one of the easiest ways to get rid of frackles. The lactic acid in milk peels away the top layer of skin, which make them look lighter.

You can just apply buttermilk over the freckles and leave it for 10 minutes to work, or you can make a thick paste of powedered oatmeal and buttermilk. That paste you should leave for about half an hour and then wash it off with water. To get more effective results do one of these tricks every day

It is not enough to make masks. You should make some lifestyle changes in order to lighten the freckles:

Protect yourself from the sun. Sometimes you can develop freckles over time as a result of sun exposure. They’ll becoming darker every summer if you don’t take precautions to protect your skin from the sun. Use plenty of sunscreen products and also wear a hat and other protective clothes.

Get Vitamin C. This nutrient helps to lighten freckles, so make sure you’re getting plenty of it. Vitamin C is contained in citrus fruits, kiwis, spinach and other leafy greens.
