Great Party Food Ideas

0

Organizing a party is great. I love to throw parties, but as a host you have to prepare everything and be sure that guests will spend great time at your place. Here we are about to show you some ideas for party appetizers, which will bring you compliments and many “Mmm”s and “Yummy”s. Take a look and check out for yourself that these recipes are easy and fun to prepare:

Stuffed Cherry Tomatoes

You will need:

Cherry tomatoes, according to the number of guests you are expecting, let’s start with 2 pints

1 avocado

1 teaspoon of lemon juice

1/4 cup of mayonnaise

8 cooked bacon slices, crumbled

2 green onions, finely chopped

Salt and pepper

 Prepare them:

Remove the top of each tomato by cutting it and use a small spoon to remove the pulp. Set the tomatoes aside to dry. While waiting, peel and dice the avocado and add to it the lemon juice. Stir them gently. Keep adding the other ingredients – mayonnaise, bacon, onions and mix them together until combined.

Put the mixture into the tomatoes, cover them with plastic wrap and let them chill for an hour. Sprinkle with salt and pepper just before serving.

And if you want a simple food, you can always make some dips. Try out these:

Spicy White Cheese Dip

You will need:

One small, diced onion

2 garlic cloves

2 cans diced tomatoes and green chiles

3/4 cups milk

1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

2 pounds white American deli cheese slices, torn

Tortilla and corn chips

Preparation:

Mix the ingredients for the dip into 6-quart oval slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW setting for 3 hours. Stir gently every hour. Serve this dip with tortilla and corn chips.

Another tasty and very nutrient appetizer is the Chick in a Blanket

You will need:

1 can refrigerated crescent rolls

1 package mini smoked chicken sausages

Parchment paper

1 egg yolk

Sesame, poppy and fennel seeds. 1 tablespoon of each. Its’ optional

Spicy mustard sauce

Preparation

Unroll the crescent rolls. Cut out 3 long triangles out of each unrolled triangle. Place a sausage and roll the triangles around the sausages. Place the blanket sausage on the paper. Do that with the rest of the sausages.

Lightly beat up the egg yolk and brush with it every roll. Sprinkle the seeds over the rolls if you want.

Bake them in preheated oven to 375F for 14-15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with the mustard.

Enjoy your party and the delicious food you’ve prepared!
