Funny Egg Whites Hors d’oeuvre


How about something eccentric, funny, yet delicious for your next party? All you need is some food coloring and about 3 dozens of eggs.. The ordeuvre will be gone quickly, so make sure you can prepare more if necessary. What`s more – you can make this anytime throughout the year, not just at Easter.

So put the eggs into a bowl and bring them to boil, let them stay in the water for 15 minutes and then cool down under running water. Peel them, cut them into half and remove the yolks.

Then use food coloring to color the egg whites. When you are happy with the colour bring them our and drain on paper. Meanwhile, mash the yolks, until they are uniformly crumbly and add 1.2 cup of mayonnaise. You can add additional ingredients if you`d like, such as mustard,  minced chives, freshly ground pepper etc. Just use your imagination.

When you are done, you should fill the eggs in. Garnish with a little bit of paprika and serve! You will be the master of the party!
