Foods that Build Up Your Body


We spend hours and hours on great hairstyles, on studying makeup tutorials, on applying all kinds of lotions, creams and serums on our bodies and faces, but do we pay attention to the easiest, but maybe most important element of our beauty and health routine: eating? All these beauty hacks lose their meaning if our diet is unhealthy and does not contain everything that our organism needs in order to make our skin glowing, our hair strong and thick, etc. These are the main groups of foods that need to be included in our eating routine:

  • Protein Foods: they are responsible for the physical condition of tissues such as skin and hair. They serve processes that help the acceleration of metabolism and are considered to help burning of fat. Proteins should be consumed with a lot of water, fruits and vegetables to neutralize their waste products. Ex. Dairy, eggs, nuts, fish, chicken, etc.

  • Carbohydrates: they are the main source of energy! However, they are the main known cause of weight gain. Less use of this type of food is desirable for good health and shape. Simple carbohydrates release their fuel very quickly, but the short-term spurt of energy falls rapidly: white bread, white rice, candy, cereals, etc. Complex carbohydrates, on the other hand, are considered more healthy and can be found in beans, whole fruits and vegetables, brown rice, corn, etc.

    Fats: maybe because of their name, the perception of what fats are and the fact that are necessary for a healthy lifestyle. Their purpose is to maintain the strength of the cell membrane or skin structure, for instance. They have the ability to absorb most toxins, so they are the tissue with lowest hydration of the body. Such an accumulation of toxins in the body is cellulite. The excessive amount of fats is not nutritious, but little quantities are necessary. Healthy fats can be found in olive oil, avocado, nuts and seeds, coconut, eggs and seafood.

  •   So the overall conclusion is to balance your diet, try to consume foods from each groups and drink a lot of water for a healthier organism and a more beautiful appearance.
