Delicious Braided Nutella Bread


I just love this recipe . It’s perfect dessert for your Sunday lunch with the whole family .

To make this wonderful and super delicious braided Nutella bread you will need :

1/2 teaspoon yeast

1 cup warp water

2 1/2 cups flour

1 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon sugar

1/2 cup Nutella

1 egg beaten with a tablespoon of water to use as a egg wash

Let’s get started

Get a small bowl and dissolve yeast in 1/4 of water . Let sit for 10 minutes .

Combine flour , salt and sugar in an another bowl of a stand mixer . Add the yeast and the remaining water and mix everything on low to make dough .

Take a bowl put some oil and place the dough in it . Then cover the bowl and set in warp place . It should be double sized after an hour . When the dough is readu roll it to form a rectangle . Spread Nutella in an even layer on the surface , leaving a 1/2 inch border of dough . Roll tightly and place on a parchment-lined ,baking sheet that’s been sprinkled with cornmeal.

After that cutr the dough such as shown below. Down the midle with a knife , leaving one end intact. Twist the ends overtop each other , turn cut side toward the top.  Again cover the dough loosley with plastic wrap and let sit 20 minutes .

Heat the noven to 350 °F. Brush surface of the bread with the egg wash . Bake for 20 minutes . Then raise temperature to 425°F and bake until lightly browned on the top , about 5-7 minutes more. Remove from oven and let cool.

When it’s enough cool serve !
