10 Space-Saving Hacks When Travelling

1

Needless to say, packing a suitcase is one of the most exhausting and tedious things a girl can do – we tend to forget the important things and usually pack those which we never use and, of course, we never have enough space. And because summer is here and some of you are going on vacation, we decided to share with our 10 space-saving hacks when packing a suitcase that will save you time, money and most importantly – nerves!

  1. Set your jewelry between two sheets of plastic wrap to prevent it from moving around and tangling inside your bag.
  1. Use pill case compartments to organize and keep track of your smaller jewelry like rings and earrings.
  1. Avoid losing small stud earrings by fastening the set through buttonholes before putting them into your jewelry bag.
  1. When packing clothes that wrinkle easily, lay them flat inside a dry-cleaning bag, and then fold as normal, because the plastic will prevent creases from setting in.
  1. Protect breakables such as glass fragrance bottles by slipping them into socks before packing them.
  1. Stick your hairpins and clips inside an old Tic Tac container to easily keep track of them.
  1. Instead of packing big makeup bottles for a quick weekend trip, pour a little bit of the product into a clean contact case for easy travel.
  1. Coat the ends of a few cotton swabs in your favorite eyeshadow shades and then put them in a plastic sandwich bag when traveling to save space.
  1. To maximize the space in your suitcase, roll your clothes instead of folding them.
  1. To prevent liquid products from bursting and ruining everything else inside your bag, cut a small square of plastic wrap, unscrew the product’s lid, set the plastic wrap on top, and screw the lid back on.
